I hate having to go in for the BETA when I know its a BFN

Do they make you do this, just so they can offically r/o pregnancy and move you on to the next cycle? I so don't want to get up early tomorrow for the appt. ARGH

For an IUI? If I knew it was a BFN I never went in for my beta. They never made me. I would go in when I got my period for a sono to make sure all is clear so we could start a new cycle.

I don't know the protocol if your BFN is from IVF.

i have done both but if u can i would go for the beta just to be sure

but again that comes from someone who def did not go bc she was so not in the mood when it was another negative

I was told I didn't have to go in, but to make sure I stop the suppositories.

FWIW I had an IUI.

Oops sorry, yes, IUI..I went this morning, and got it over with, I did not bother with my progesterone this morning. I'll wait for the call, and start over. I guess its good to know a def. negative because it could be forever before I get AF again, so they'll prob. have to give me meds to move it along.

On another note, the woman in the other chair was talking to the nurse, and her 2nd Beta did not have doubling, this was her 3rd Beta today..from what I could gather its been a long road for her. She was sooo nervous and upset. I wanted to get up and hug her, I felt so bad. Of course, she would have been freaked out, so I didn't do that, but my thoughts are actually of her today, and praying the Beta's are on the rise
