Re: may mommies!
Just over 32 weeks today. Feeling ok, but a lot of things are getting very hard and awkward to do. Nursery is all done. All clothes and blankets are washed and hung/folded. Haven't 100% agreed on a name but I think we're pretty close. I've gained about 20 lbs. at this point.
This stage of pregnancy is new for me because I had the twins at 30 weeks so anything past that I've never been through. So some things Im going through for the first time. Not too bad yet

Re: may mommies!
Feeling pretty good here. Kinda done with being pregnant though lol. Getting off the floor after playing with DD is quite a sight to see! I can't believe I will be a mommy of two soon either. DD kind of understands there's a baby in mommy's belly, but doesn't really get it (which I sorta like lol). I'm praying for a smooth transition for her since she's obsessed with babies and dolls.
I've gained about 25 lbs so far and honestly I'm surprised it's not more. I stopped going to the gym about 2 weeks ago. I was so careful and healthy with DD, this time...well let's just say I've kept the Girl Scouts in business!
We have NOTHING ready. I bought some NB diapers and onesies, but we're team so I'm not going nuts with clothes yet. The bassinet and carseat are still in storage. I did buy the FP rock n play sleeper that was highly recommended here and by friends. LO can sleep in that for a while too. He/she will be in our room until they are STTN and then the kiddies will share a room until we move.
So nervous about L&D again too.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Re: may mommies!
So exciting! I'm 35 w 4 days. Nursery is ready except I have to buy an area rug, almost everything is washed and put away. DH needs to assemble the swing, pack and play, etc., but I figure I still have a bit of time for that.
Have been having BP issues, so I've been to L&D twice in the past week. Everything is ok, but my BP goes too high when I commute into the city and work from my office. So, I'm only coming in two more days and then will work from home until decides to make her appearance.
I also have insomnia now -- awake every night from 2-5. Other than this and some general aches and pains, doing ok.
The thought of going late and being preggers for another 5 weeks is UNTHINKABLE.

Re: may mommies!
34w3d and getting really tired... I've been off this week but I'm dreading going back to work Monday.
Worked on the nursery a lot this week. All furniture is in, closet system done, new rug. Just in the process of washing everything. Im so exhausted from too many trips up and down the stairs!
Baby girl seems to be doing good. I see doc evey week now and just had an in depth growth sono done bc he was concerned she was small. Shes estimated right now at 4lbs 11oz. Not sure on height. 28th percentile. I'm up about 40lbs. Too bad she's small or else I could blame it on her

Re: may mommies!
If it weren't for the crippling groin pain, I'd be feeling pretty good. I've been able to get my GD under control with diet (even though it's not been fun, it hasn't been THAT bad). We have most of the big ticket items for her, just need to buy some more clothes. I cam't believe how fast these last 8 months have gone. Can’t wait to meet our little butterfly and she what she looks like.

Re: may mommies!
34 weeks 3 days!!! This is my 2nd child and I am SCARED SHITLESS again!!!! I hate the last couple of weeks before delivery.. I get myself sooooo nervous and worked up.. I keep telling myself everything will be fine like last time!! My daughter is 2 and we keep talking about her future brother/sister!! She seems to get excited but she really has no clue what's coming!!! I have been getting all the baby gear ready!! The nursery is staying the nursery but my daughter's new BIG GIRL room is getting worked on!! Slowly but surely!! I just need to pack my bags for the hospital and wash some gender neutral clothes!!
Hope all is feeling good!! Maybe I will see someone in labor and delivery!! I deliver at St Charles!!

Re: may mommies!
32 weeks and the done feeling has set in. I've gained 12 lbs so far don't ask me how since I eat like a pig constantly. I have horrible back and groin pain and I waddle everywhere according to dh. I've gotten a lot of the stuff I need for the baby but I still feel so unprepared. I'm really just trying to enjoy these last few weeks with my dd and my sleep.

Re: may mommies!
34 weeks and 2 days! I'm having anxiety about the birth. Having trouble sleeping at night and find myself out of breath alot.
Everything else we have in order with the exception of putting together the swing and installing the car seat. And maybe picking up a few more items but, Im waiting until we have our baby shower here where we live (I had my NY one a month ago)
Her nursery is pretty much done just waiting on her mirror and need to hang a few more things on her wall.
Her clothes are all washed and put away, my hopsital bag is packed. I just need to add a few more things like my birthing plan which Im working on right now.
I'm hoping to get a sono in the next few weeks so I can determine size. As of 2 weeks ago I was up 24 lbs. I have another Dr appt today, Im prob up 27 by now. Ive been eating alot!

Re: may mommies!
I'm 34 weeks this week and feeling pretty good. I'm up abou 22 pounds now and feel so much smaller than I was with DD #1. My c-section is scheduled for 5/18 at Winthrop.
Nursery is getting there. Crib needs to be assembled and I need to get some decorative accessories for the room. Got some diapers and wipes, but need more of course.
Starting washing some clothes, bibs, burp cloths, etc. Now that the dresser is in place, I can start putting stuff away.
I have lower back pain and sleeping is hit/miss at this point, but I can't stay in one position for too long!
Hope everyone else is feeling good!

Re: may mommies!
36 weeks and this week I am really starting to feel crappy Lots of back pain and general discomfort. I'm hoping it's just because I've been pushing myself kinda hard this last week and not getting much rest. Hopefully with a little rest I will feel better again! Fingers crossed!
I'm up 32 lbs as of today. Baby girl was estimated at 5lbs 13oz last week so if she goes full term she would be over 8 lbs they said. Considering my DS was only 3lbs, that's HUGE! lol
My mom and BFF threw a surprise sprinkle for me two weeks ago for our immediate family. It was very small and intimate, but everything was so pretty and it was great to celebrate with my family
I went to BBB last weekend to use my registry completion coupon and picked up practically everything on my registry list At the sprinkle we only got 2 things from the list so we used the few gift cards we got and picked up everything that I think is essential. I was really shocked at how much it all ended up costing! Amazing how the little things add up!
We had all the big stuff from DS so that's great! The only really big thing we needed to buy was the City Select stroller.
I've washed all of baby's clothes and separated by type of clothes and size. I might try to put some away in the dresser this weekend.
Started packing my hospital bag. Still need to put some stuff in there and finish that up.
Should be getting the crib by the end of the month and will set that up then.
Need to assemble ALL the baby gear. Thinking we'll wait to do that until the very end since that way DS won't try to climb in it haha. And also so that he has space to run and play as he has been before baby comes and everything changes.
Here's me this week at 36 weeks. If I took a pic with a color shirt or print shirt, I'd scare you all with how big I really am

Re: may mommies!
i am 37w 1day today....i am up 40lbs :( and my lil guy is measuring 7lbs 1oz already. i am already dialating & 50% effaced so i am crossing my fingers & praying that he makes his debut asap. between the cramping pains & the horrible back aches.....i am just ready to meet this lil guy & am done being preggo. His big sister is ready, or as ready as an 18mos cld be. If you ask her where her lil brother is, she points to her belly...lol. I just have to wash his clothes but otherwise we are ready & waiting. We had a sono yesterday & we're still having a boy which my hubby was happy about b/c i was having dreams all week that the other sono was wrong & that the baby was actually a girl...lol. I can't believe i will be a mommy of 2 in 20days :)
