What am I going to wear?! UPDATED AGAIN with a dress I just bought
I gotta say I really hate this stage in pregnancy when you don't look pregnant yet, but you start gaining weight and clothes start getting tight. I have no Real baby bump but in certain outfits I look like I just ate a huge cheeseburger Everything fits me but can't button my pants anymore, I can zip most if them but can't button. My boobs are huge so everything is tight around my chest area. I have a wedding in 2 weeks, I'll be 18 weeks, I just tried on all my dresses and I feel like nothing looks right. Almost every dress is too tight . Some look ok but the girls want to come out and play I can't even order anything online bc I have no idea what size I need. I was thinking I'm going to go check out Marshalls and C21 , see if I can find a dress / some kind of outfit, but should I go next few days or should I wait to last minute and buy it then? I'm just afraid if I wait last min I won't be able to find anything and will be stressed out of my mind So what do I do?! Feel so silly even posting this
UPDATED BELOW WITH A PIC

Re: What am I going to wear?!
I'm at the same stage as you where it just looks like I ate a big meal. So it is a little frustrating getting dressed. If I were you I would go dress shopping at least a week before the wedding to make sure I had time to find something. Just make sure that whatever you get fits you but has a little bit of room for growth.

Re: What am I going to wear?!
I would say for the dress, look for something with an empire waist so its not tight on you and gives you room... You can even go to Motherhood Maternity and try a dress in size small, they arent expensive... They have super cute ones and they are cuter in person than online, just something to keep in mind.
It is definately an awkward stage of pregnancy... Do you use the bella band for your pants yet? That helped me until I was fully showing... And I had the same issue as you with the boobs, even my jackets fitted me REALLY tight on my boobs even before I was showing! LOL I always wore scarves ALL day at work to cover how tight my shirts were getting on top LOL
Wrap sweaters and cardigans should be your new BFF! LOL

Re: What am I going to wear?! Updated with a link to a dress
I had a wedding to go to when I was 18 weeks, and I waited until the week of the wedding to find something.
Everyone is different, but in my situation, maternity dresses looked terrible on me since I haven't grown into them yet. So I just bought a black dress from H&M a size bigger and it worked fine. Good luck!
PS I dunno if it's my computer or not, but I can't see the link you posted

Re: What am I going to wear?! Updated with a picture - Fixed
Oooo now I can see the dress! It's very pretty, I think if you dress it up with some sparkly shoes and maybe your hair up, you can get away with wearing it for an evening wedding
ETA: where is the wedding I think that also comes into play if you think about whether or not it's ok to wear. For example, if it was at Oheka Castle, I would not wear it....

I have this dress from motherhood - it is VERY comfortable and the fabric has a tiny bit of sheen to it, so it's dressy enough for a wedding.
Or you could just wear a black wrap dress (Gap or Motherhood sells them) and dress that up with accessories / cute shoes.

I mean I might in 2 weeks bc I remember with DD it happened almost overnight . I like it bc it's cute and looks comfortable and that's a must since we are taking DD with us , also it's on sale and god knows if I'll ever wear again.

I have this dress and wore it to my shower. Like a PP said, it's very comfortable and light weight. I think you can get away with it without a super noticeable bump.

Yup! I'm almost 17 weeks and b/c it's empire waist it actually makes your bump look a little bit bigger.

I have this dress too, and also wore to my shower (and wear to all client meetings instead of a suit). I think if you dress it up with shoes and hair you will be fine.

Re: What am I going to wear?! Updated with a picture - Fixed UPDATED AGAIN with a dress I just bought
yes, I know, I'm being a pain in the neck with this one , but I have never had a fashion dilemma before, so please bear with me :D so I got this dress at Marshalls today, it's Jones NY , on sale for $45 Not sure about it yet, I ove the dress I just don't know if I'm going to wear it to the wedding , but that was the intention behind the purchase It's not really the style I would typically wear, not really into big, flowery prints, but I loved the color on my skin tone when I tried it on . So anyway, I have one pic, I took in the fitting room to send to DH, he loves it . I tried it on with shoes and all at home and it looks really cute
sorry blurred out my face
so what do you think ? I 'm 16 weeks, will be 18 weeks at the wedding so I have enough room to grow , plus the material is a bit stretchy.
OK I see the pic is really small, it's in my album so maybe that's better , not sure

It looks great!! Love the dress!!! Im not quite 16 weeks. I know how you feel. I just want to look pregnant already. Rather than, well, "boy she looks like she's putting on weight"!
