TMI-Hemorrhoid ???
This is gross but I am really worried! I never had a hemorrhoid until I gave birth to my DD in December. I got a tiny one from pushing. Now everyone tells me once u get one, you will keep getting them. Well I did! I have had one since the end of February!!! It will not go away and I haven't gone to the Dr. (so embarrassing!!) It hurts so much to use the bathroom! Has anyone had experience with this?? Sorry, I know it's nasty! lol

Re: TMI-Hemorrhoid ???
I got them and they don't ever go away. (I mean the pain, bleeding, inflammation, itchiness SHOULD go away) but not permanently. What I mean is that sometimes it can and will flare up again and come back from time to time. But generally, by 1.5-2 weeks of the initial problem, it should be gone. I asked a doctor about it once but never had it actually looked at. I recommend using preparation H cream. Use it sometimes before you go to the bathroom as well because it kind of prevents the problem from getting worse. Sometimes I use it even when I don't have hemorrhoids because it helps from it reoccurring. There are also wipes you can buy, but those have never worked for me.

Re: TMI-Hemorrhoid ???
Even though I know it is you really shouldn't worry about being embarrassed to your doctor. I got them while pregnant with my first, worse after giving birth, now pregnant with #2 and sooo not looking forward to the after giving birth ones! Anyway I asked my obgyn about it once and he said I would have to see a proctologist to have anything done about it

Re: TMI-Hemorrhoid ???
I know there is a proceedure that can be done, they basically rubber band it, and it end ups losing circulation and falling off...
going to look into that after the new baby is born.
