How long did you rest after transfer?
What did you eat?
Any extra vitamins?
Any other helpful tips you have?
Thanks and CONGRATS!

Ivf after about a year of medicated natural and medicated iui cycles.
I took a cab to Penn after transfer then went to lunch then home to rest.
Prenatals, folic, prednisone, intralipids, lovenox, progesterone and e2 and crinone. That's it.
No special foods.
I had no symptoms. Still really don't other than occasional cramping (8 weeks-twins). Had what I guessing IB at 6dp5dt and also AF like cramps.
Bfp 7dp5dt Beta 1 at 8dp5dt:79 Beta at 10dp5dt: 230

This is my first ivf after 4 failed iui cycles, non medicatd and medicated. I was on a light regimen of stims.
Before my ER, I avoided strenuous activity, I stayed in my routine and relaxed by going for a walk or spending time with my dog I also avoided caffeine and any chemicals like detergents, cleansers and bleach. I used Vinegar instead.
After my ET, I rested the entire remainder of the day with minimal bathroom runs. I put my feet up and watched happy movies, chatted with mom and DH. The next day, i hung out at home w/mom and sat up most of the day but was off my feet.
I ate warm foods and room temperature pineapple core, lots of water, prenatal vitamins and extra folic acid.
I am a news junkie, day and night. During that time, I didn't watch news, not even weather! The zen-like atmosphere made me "blissfully ignorant" and I was really relaxed. I put on meditation music when I slept, too.

Re: With all these BFPs... please tell us what you did this time around...
I did a fresh IVF cycle almost four years ago - put back two which results in one DD who is now three years old!
I started back up again in August with two FETs. First one resulted in a chemical and the second one took, but my beta was only a 7. It continued to climb (SLOWLY) and the baby was not growing on schedule. We saw the HB but I m/c at nine weeks.
I just did another fresh cycle. Rested after ER and continued meds up until ET. Put back two high quality embryos (Dr. Brenner also said my uterus looked textbook perfect - ha!) and relaxed when I got home from my ET. However, I have a three year old DD, so I didn't rest much. Obviously no heavy lifting, etc., but I didn't do any bed rest, etc., and went back to work the next day.
As far as foods, I avoid caffeine, but other than that, nothing special.
I am on a prenatal vitamin, but nothing additional. I am taking baby asprin, was wearing the estrogen patches, and am on progesterone suppositories 4x/day. I also take synthroid and metformin (for PCOS).

Re: With all these BFPs... please tell us what you did this time around...
i'm still very cautiously excited...i dont think i can really be at ease until i'm out of the first trimester
What did you do this cycle? This was my 2nd IVF cycle, the only difference between this cycle and the last one was they took the eggs out 2 days earlier and i had a 3 day transfer. ohhh and i had some VERY special Gonal F from a VERY special LIFer!!
How long did you rest after transfer? My transfer was on a Saturday so i spent the weekend taking it easy. Layed in the bed and watched tv, visited my parents, no bending or lifting.
What did you eat? When i started the meds i stopped drinking caffiene/alcohol and eating sushi. during the 2ww i did have pineapples one day but that wasnt planned (i wonder if that helped with implantation?)
Any extra vitamins? nope just prenatals
Any other helpful tips you have? dont give up....its an unfortunate process of elimination before the REs can find out what will work for you.

Re: With all these BFPs... please tell us what you did this time around...
This was my first IVF cycles after several IUI"s and chemicals.
After the transfer I rested that day (Thursday) and the whole next day (Friday) and didn't do anything too crazy over that weekend. I made sure not to lift anything for 2 weeks as instructed by the Dr. and still avoid heavy lifting.
I didn't eat anything out of the ordinary. With that said, I basically eat pretty healthy. I did avoid caffeine for the most part.
I took prenatals but nothing extra beyond that.

Re: With all these BFPs... please tell us what you did this time around...
I hate to be the killjoy here .. but I just wanted to add my two cents that everyone's protocol is catered to them... the winning protocol for one person may not work for someone else .. etc etc.. and as far as what people do/eat after transfer... I have done all different things and have gotten all different outcomes..
I think the best advice is to follow the advice your doctors gives you as far as drugs go and do what makes you feel good as far as eating/doing after the transfer. I conceived 3 babies at once by eating no pineapple at all .. I ate pineapple after another transfer and got pregnant then too ... I did complete bed rest and got pregnant, I did absolutely no bed ret and got pregnant ..
I highly recommend acupuncture as well, since it's something I did for all of my cycles and apparently I'm a 'pro' at getting pregnant.
