When you told people you're pregnant...
Did you call everyone in your and your DHs extended family even if you're not particularly close with them? I'm trying I decide if we definitely need to call aunts, uncles, cousins that we maybe see once a year or less. Some I've met maybe 5 or 10 times my whole life. Or is it okay for those people to find out when we announce on Facebook? I think Facebook made me kind of lazy.  I don't want to be rude by not calling them, but we have a pretty large extended family and there are many relatives we just are not really in touch with.

Once I gave the ok at 12 weeks my parents and in laws spread the news. Once all of our friends and fam knew we posted on FB.

We told immediate family and gave them the go ahead to relay the msg to extended fam.

I was able to tell a lot of my Aunts and Uncles in person. The rest I called.
Cousins found out thru word of mouth or Facebook.

We told DH's parents and siblings and my dad and brother & SIL and asked them not to say anything to anyone. Not even the extended family. They all found out when i posted it on Facebook.

My parents told my aunts and uncles, and then I ended up getting calls from all of them. We see DH's aunt and uncle more often, as they live on LI, so we told them in person.

Depends on what you are comfortable with... DH called all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, etc... I let my mom spread the word on my side of the family. Everyone else found out via FB who I don't see very often.

We told our immediate families at Christmas. We both have very small families so we knew it would be easy for them to find out. DH swore his parents to secrecy. I am honestly shocked and SUPER proud of them for keeping the secret. I saw my extended side of the family on X-Mas & made the announcement. Then we had 2 post holiday dinners to tell DH's extended family. That pretty much took care of everyone.

We told my family and inlaws and they spread the word 
But lots of people still don't know, I will be posting on FB next couple of weeks so everyone will find out.

We told our immediately families first. Then we told my grandmother in person. After that, we gave our parents the go ahead to spread the news. We didn't call everyone ourselves. I didn't post anything on fb until 20 something weeks after family and friends already knew.

We told our immediate family and friends, and then our aunts and unclues mil bro and sis my moms bro, then posted it on facebook earlier this week for everyone else to find out.
We did not find it necessary to start calling 100 people to tell them when it was done in one fell swoop... noone was upset they found out that way.

Then when we were ready for it to be out told the grandparents and they spread the news.
