Food aversions?
Anyone having major food aversions? I have literally ZERO cravings, and have to force myself to eat dinner, even though my m/s passed a few weeks ago (I'm 17 weeks). I've only gained 3 lbs so far which is awesome, I just am not sure if I'm eating enough. I could live on fruit and cereal for dinner, lol.

Re: Food aversions?
i lived on cereal and mac & cheese for 17 weeks. then it got SO much better. now i can eat most things but there are times when i just *know* i can't eat certain things. one day i can eat 2 chicken breasts and the next day the leftovers make me want to vomit. i bet in the next few weeks it will subside and you'll be back to eating close to normal.

Re: Food aversions?
I have no real aversions but nothing really excites me either. Im hungry all the time so I am eating but I never eat anything where Im like "oh man that was goood". Food just tastes eh to me. And everything gives me heartburn. I had more cravings when I wasn't pg.

Re: Food aversions?
I had a major meat aversion until I was around 20 weeks. No food really excited me so I think that is why I didnt gain much weight until I was around 20 wks. I still have no cravings or anything but at least I can force myself to eat meat now.

Re: Food aversions?
i had aversions to meat the entire pregnancy. i also couldn't eat eggs or anything very rich or salty. for the first 15 weeks all i wanted to eat ever was stouffers french bread pizza and plain pasta with butter. around 17-18weeks i started eating more and being hungrier. i lost 3lbs in the first tri and gained 35lbs overall (and i delivered 7w early and had only a 3.5lb baby) so it def caught up!!

Re: Food aversions?
I don't have any cravings and I really don't want anything I have to force myself to eat 3 meals and snacks plus I don't feel hungry although my belly will start rumbling. So weird. (the good news is I haven't gained as much weight, plus I was sick until like 14 weeks) I am 23 weeks now.
With my DS I was always starving and had sour cream and pickle cravings ~ had to have both with everything.

Re: Food aversions?
not really, just that i cannot stand the smell of coffee. ironic bc i used to drink it at least 3x a day. dh insists on brewing a pot on his days off and it stinks up the whole house for hours and hours - i feel bad but i'm like, can't you just go buy a cup at the deli or something

Re: Food aversions?
I had food aversions to so much especially early on- I couldn't eat pasta (my fave) for nearly the entire pregnancy but even that passed eventually. most food aversions left my the 3rd trimester but I never really had cravings.. except once for fig newtons.. and when I got them I was so happy I cried
