Dh has a job interview for a great job that would mean more money and more responsibly. However we are covered under his insurance and we have our first round of iui next month. In his field most insurance doesn't kick in for 90 days. My ins at work if I chose to take it is absolutely horrible and covers nothing. I don't want to put treatment on hold but this job would mean such a better future for us.

ITA. in the grand scheme of things 90 days isn't too bad. in IF land it feels like every day you aren't pregnant is a million years, but in the end whether you have your baby in january or april, it doesn't matter much in the long run. Chat Icon

First of all, best wishes and lots of luck to your husband with his interview!
Second, keep in mind that this is something that will be better for both of you, which i'm sure you already know and would be better for any children you will have and their lives.
Third, its just an interview. Not many jobs will give you the position right on the spot. So it may be a little while before he gets the job right away, so you might be able to do your first IUI without interruption.
If he does get the position quickly, I would suggest signing up for Cobra in the meantime to continue uninterrupted service.

This! If his new company won't start insurance right away, you'll need COBRA anyway. You can both stay on his current insurance until the new company's policy kicks in.

IMO, I wouldn't wait 90 days for your IUI...but I"m also really impatient! You never know how long your IF journey may be.
