Is there a list for top rated baby items
for example, cribs, bathtubs, bouncy seat things, playpens, strollers, carseats, etc.
This is my first child and I am totally clueless on what's a good brand and what's not! It's kinda scary not knowing a thing about all this stuff that I'm going to need. The internet gives you so many mixed reviews on stuff.

The Book Baby Bargains lists and reviews many brands and you can also use consumer search . com online

Baby Bargains is a great book. I also found that the customer reviews posted on babies r us's website are very helpful. I relied on those when registering for DD and found that more reviews were pretty accurate!
