What are you getting for the new baby?

Finally getting organized and doing some online shopping!

So far I have the following:

Crib
Dresser
Changing pad
Changing pad covers
New pack n play sheets
Crib sheets
Breastmilk storage bags
Breast pads
New bottles
New binkies
Sit n stand stroller
Humidifier
Sound machine
New diaper bag

We are team this time. When it gets a little closer I will get a few girl items just in case and wait on washing them until after baby is born. Makes it kind of hard to plan!

I am a loss for anything else?

We needed quite a bit. We had saved a lot of things and they got ruined (moldy) unfortunately in storage.

New Bottles
Bottle Liners
Pacifiers (just got one 2-pack of the soothies)
bouncer
travel swing
shower cap style carseat cover (we used the BundleMe with DD but they aren't recommended anymore and the zipper broke on ours anyway)
activity mat
crib sheets
socks
monitor (newer and better)
waterproof pads
Britax B-Agile Stroller (we got rid of our travel system years ago bc we hated it! I will still use the snap n go that we have)
New asperator, nail clippers, etc.
New Breast Pump (covered by insurance so cheaper then buying the new tubing and accessories)
Some new towels and washcloths

We have saved---several sets of neutral clothing, burp clothes, recieving blankets

And then there are a few things we are borrowing from friends/family --- pack n play, infant seat and base, etc....just because it seemed silly to buy them new again, we are done after this baby!

My girls will be 21 months apart. So far..

New Big girl bed for dd (waiting until the baby outgrows the bassinet though)

clothes (even though I'm having the same sex)

I want to get a carrier too I didn't use one with dd but I have a feeling it might come in good use this time around

DD will turn 6 a month after the baby comes. I'm really hoping for another girl (of course I would be just as happy if it was a boy, as long as they are healthy) because of the time of year, all of DD's old clothes will be the right size for the season and I'd really like to reuse them.

I gave a lot of things away over the years and new things have come out and my car seats will be expired by then.

I started a list of the things I will need, it's only like 16 things, lol. My sister said I'll either have a shower or a sprinkle depending on the gender, so hopefluly I'll get what I need for the baby.

DS#1 and DS#2 will be 15 months apart

we got

1) Furniture
2) Tandem stroller so the infant seat snaps into it (Graco)
3) Baby monitor that scans 2 rooms our old one got discontinued so I could not add a camera on
4) Bedding
5) Diaper pad for changer
6) Changing pad covers
7) I kept the playtex bottles but bought all new nipples
8) We are getting the new City Mini GT side by side double
9) A cheapo double umbrella stroller to leave in the car
10) Binkies

Oh, you girls gave me so good ideas! Sorry, I am making a list here to keep track!

I am adding:

Bibs (have a ton of brand new burp cloths left)

didn't need much at all (especially since I'm having another boy)

I got a new boppy, new diaper bag, diapers, wipes, baby lotions/washes/etc

and a double stroller.

Didn't buy any new clothes but got some gifts at my shower

and borrowing a bassinet from my friend (didn't use one for DS #1)

wow I feel like such a slacker reading this!
DD and new baby will be 26 mos apart...
I can't think of much new that I need until AFTER the baby comes.
We are and were with DD so I have tons of yellow/green clothes for right away.
I will get new nipples and pacifiers - my bottles are all still in good condition.

I'll get a double stroller after the baby comes to see what fits our needs. Don't plan on taking both of them anywhere alone together for a while so will use the Snap-N-Go for baby at first and DD can walk or go in her MaClaren.

Not getting furniture for baby until after b/c I plan for the baby to sleep in my room for at least 3-4 mos like DD did. Not sure if by then DD will be ready to be out of her crib or not. She LOVES her crib and I'm in no rush to get her out so if she's still fine in it then I'll buy a cheap crib for baby.

I feel so relaxed and don't feel like I have to do a lot to prepare at all for this baby...not setting up a nursery right away. All burps and bibs I saved are in good condition as well as undershirts and stuff...all I think I will have to do as we get closer to due date is a lot of wash and that's it!

I haven't given it much thought yet but this is what I think I will need....

- New parts for my pump & milk storage bags
- bouncer (DD's converted to a rocking chair which she LOVES)
- double stroller
- (if it's a boy) boy bedding ,clothes, etc...
- new bottle, nipples, binkies
- towels & wash cloths

I didn't get much new at all, since we are on our second with 2.5 years between.

-sound machine
-binkies, nipples (reusing bottles)
-diapers, sensitive wipes
-infant medications
-fisher price rock and play sleeper
-crib set (DS 1 is still in his crib, but my MIL is loaning us her crib and mattress)
