Finally in labor (Another update)
Started having contractions at 11pm. They are still about 9-10 min apart. Some stronger then others but still tolerable. I'm so happy I won't have to get induced now. I was trying to avoid it. Kind of hard going into labor in middle of night when I have another child at home, but what can you do. Letting DH sleep for now. I tried to sleep but no such luck. Good thing I'm used to staying up all night. ( work overnights).

Update #3
Well I never went to hospital, since contractions stopped. I went in this moring to my OB office and got checked. I'm just about 3cm dilated and 80% effaced, but was not having any contractions at the time. Doctor said I'm not in active labor yet and to just wait it out. About an hour ago, I started having contractions again. They are pretty painful and are lasting over a minute. The only problem is they are still at least 10-12 min apart. So, for now I wait!

So frustrated!!! I have been having contractions since 11pm. They got to the point of 7 minutes apart and where pretty painful. Then around 4am, they started going to 20 minutes apart, still painful. Then around 5am they went back to 9 min apart, some painful, some mild. I called the doctor and they said that it might not be real labor. If this was my first pregnancy, I might say they are right, but I know what a true contraction feels like. These are real contractions. I know because I feel the pain not only in belly but in my back. That is exactly how I felt with DS. I have a high pain tolerance, but some I could hardly talk through.
No water breaking, no bloddy show!! I'm 4 days late, so I figured this would go fast. I haven't slept all night. So just sitting around and waiting.

how frustrating!!! its so nice outside - can you throw DC into a stroller and try to walk it out? or are contractions too tough for that? maybe it would help move you along!!

I'm sorry. It's frustrating. Hopefully they will become regular soon!, I had that early in the morning on Saturday and my water broke a few hours later.
