Prednisone - Dr B
Can anyone tell me how many weeks into pregnancy Dr B keeps people on prednisone?
Dr T will have me weaning off @ 10 weeks. I'm just nervous to stop...feels like a security blanket.
I'll still be doing intralipids every 3 weeks til 20 weeks.

Dr t has me on the same exact regimen . I want to say dr b keeps you on til12 but I may be thinking that he does inralipids until 12.

Dr.B just started weaning me off this week and I'm 10 weeks. How do they have you weaning off?

I think if you are taking 15mg you drop to 10 for a week then 5 for week and so on. Might not be a week, but a few days.
You still have the intralipids though so you are covered.

I was on a very large dose, 40mg...so Dr. B had me start weaning off at 12weeks and I believe I was completely off my 15 weeks. I weaned by 40, 20, 10, 5.
I was off intralipids a lot earlier. I believe around 20 weeks.
I was so nervous to go off as well, but the drs. monitor you and they know best!!! GL and congrats!
