Those PG with their 3rd plus child...

2 QuestionsChat Icon

I just found out last week we are PG with #3Chat Icon Chat Icon Question is, Did you pop right away? I feel huge already!!!

Another question, Did you wait until the first OB appointment to tell the other kids or did you tell right away? I just keeping thinking that if we tell them now, what if god forbid something is wrong:(. How would we explain that?

Congratulations! There are actually quite a few of us here Chat Icon

Q1: YES! By 7 weeks I was almost in tears every night deciding what to wear to work the next day since I still hadn't even seen the dr yet!

Q2: we probably could have (should have) waited longer than we did. We didn't tell them the day I peed on the stick but we did tell them prior to the first OB appt (9w). Truthfully, I was so obviously pregnant, even my 2 and 4year olds would have been able to figure it out.

Congratulations. I popped pretty quickly. I stopped wearing my regular pants/jeans by about 14 weeks.

We waited to tell the kids until after we told our friends who lost their son in a December car accident, we didn't want them telling them before we did.

Yes, I definitely was popping earlier first, I felt very bloated early. I am 18 weeks now and have had MANY comments about my big belly.

My children are 4 and 6. My brother and his wife suffered a later loss just a month before so I waited until I was about 10 weeks (second sonogram) to tell them. I had the Dr. check me then called them in with my DH

Congratulations! I did pop right away and just kept getting bigger. Chat Icon When we found out, my eldest was 4 y/o and the second was an eight-month old. *gasp* We did wait after the first OB visit before telling our eldest... he was sooo excited to learn he'll be big brother again. I just noticed the 2nd one got more and more clingy. My mom said he probably feels there's another one coming...

Best of luck!
