I officially hate my OB.
I've been waiting for 2 weeks for my C-Section date. TWO weeks. I posted last week that I went to see him on Thursday. He was SUPPOSED to confer with the perinatologist that day, to get clearance to do the section 2 days earlier than 39 weeks. He told me to call the next day after 10am. I called twice on Friday. Never heard back. I know he does sections on Fridays so I got over it and waited the weekend. I called at 9:30am this morning and left a third message. Didn't hear back. My sister had an appt. with him today and told him I was going to kill him if he didn't call. He said, "it shouldn't be a problem to do it Wednesday." In other words- he hasn't even CALLED the other doctor yet. He said he'll be seeing me Thursday anyway- which I didn't even HAVE an appt. for this week because last week he never told me to make an appt.
We're not talking a month or two for now. It is between 2 days NEXT WEEK. I want Wednesday for very specific reasons. I need to know what day it's going to be so I can arrange babysitting for DD, so I know what day will be my last day at work, etc.
After I spoke to my sister I called again, leaving a FOURTH message. it's now 2 hours later and I still haven't heard back.
I am so pissed.

I remember your post from last week! That's awful. I dont know how someone can do that! I'd call him repeatedly until he called me back

What ob do you use? You can fm me. My friend is going thru the same thing with her ob. I wonder if it's the same Dr.

I remember your post ~ I can't believe it hasn't been resolved yet ~ I would probably call back one more time and leave a very firm message or demand to talk to him.

I would have the hardest time not flipping out on him the next time you talk to him, whenever that time eventually comes around.

I made an appt. for Thursday- the next time he'll be in the office. I WILL have much to say to him.
