TMI question about internal
Sorry for the TMI! I'm 36w today and had my first internal a couple of hours ago. I'm 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. I've been bleeding quite a bit since my appointment, like I have my period. I passed what was either a big blood clot or my mucus plug, I couldn't tell. Does this sound normal? Do you think it could have been my mucus plug? The OB told me she doesn't really care if I lose my mucus plug because it doesn't necessarily mean anything but I'm curious anyway. I'm sorry, this is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what to expect! TIA!

It could be either! Lol im no help. I has my first internal last week and didn't have any blood.
