If you had a CVS done please come in.
How was the procedure?
Did you drive home afterwards or have someone take you?
Did you go back to work the next day?
Thanks

Re: If you had a CVS done please come in.
I had it done in August at 12 weeks.
The procedure was fine. It didn't hurt, it was just uncomfortable, knowing what they were doing. The actual needle insertion and sample getting was 30 seconds to a minute tops. Before they even get to that point, the sono tech gets better images of the baby and placenta, and the doctor spends time going over the procedure and everything associated with what it looks for, the miscarriage rate, etc.
I felt fine afterwards and could have driven home (they said I could when I called before hand), but DH had come with me, so he drove.
I had it on a Friday, but very well could have gone to work the next day. I had it at 1 pm in the afternoon and was fine by that evening.

I had mine done on a Friday at mount Sinai. It went fine! Felt a little uncomfortable but that was for max 2 minutes. Afterwards, I totally could have driven. I was fine that afternoon and I even went to the Inspection of the house we were buying. That night the dr told me to have a glass of wine which I did. No issues at all. Good luck!
