Anyone else having this bra problem!?

26 weeks - My bra size went up a cup size about a month or two ago - suddenly the underwire was digging into my stomach. I thought my back just grew and I needed a larger back size - so I went to the store and no matter what size I tried on, it was STILL digging into my stomach. I realized maybe its not the back size that grew - it's just my obvious belly so no matter what bra I get w/ underwire, it is going to dig into me. I finally decided a wireless bra would work (the selection of wireless is SO tiny!!) so that is what I'm trying out now. So far so good.

Am I the only one having this issue?!

i bought a couple of wireless bras from Kohls. They are comfy and affordable.

If the wireless bras aren't comfy for you either, you could always try sports bras.

good luck!

Almost 25 weeks, and I could have written this post word for word. I am so uncomfy! I definitely need to get some wireless bras. Which one did you get?

Ahhh so glad you posted this!! This started for me last week (beginning of 23w) and I switched to wireless, but the wireless just wasn't fitting me right... I guess I just have to keep searching, but I'm so glad it's not just me!

I had the same problem!! But, much earlier in my pregnancy, around 13 weeks (I guess because it's my second) So I switched to the wirefree bras and also got those bra extenders for days I am feeling extra plump! Wirefree is the way to go!

I'm so glad you ladies responded and I am not alone - I thought I was going nuts!! I think the one I got is Arielle from JC Penney (it's on me now so I'm not sure, i can double check when i get home). So far it's good, not the MOST comfortable bra I've worn - but at least it's not painful like the last with underwire. I guess that's what being pregnant is about, being uncomfortable! A sports bra is a good idea too if this bra doesn't fit me till the very end, so I may have to resort to that!

Same here... I am re using my nursing bras from my 1st pg. I also have a few "old" bras that I don't plan on using once these two show up so I ripped out the wire. Yeah, it's ghetto, but I don't feel like buying new bras until I have a better idea as to what my size will be after they get here.

Same exact issue here. Glad to know I'm not alone but I have never been happy w/ nonunderwire bra's...I'm seriously getting bruises under my boobs from the wire digging into the stomach :(

Yes, same here. I bought a bra from Destination Maternity and it was diggin in so I brought it back. They said Oh, you just got the wrong size so they convinced me to buy the same bra in a different size. Took the tags off, wore it one day and was in agaony. (Actually don't even know where the bra is now) Must be a sign. Anyway, I returned the other one and went to a plus size store to buy bras. I am swearing off the Maternity bras until I have to wear nursing bras.
