does anyone get extreme pressure every few days?

i have been struggling with this.
what happens in every few days or so...it feels like my bladder is exploding and is hard to even walk at times. its horrid and i actually went to the hospttal when it first happened.

i was checked for everything utis, pre term etc.

all is well and only explanation is the position of hte baby hitting bladder or nerve.

well.... after a few days again of just feeling pressure of a normal preggo its back.
it literally feels like baby is trying to come out of my vag and is stabbing my bladder and whoohoo alllllllll dayyyyyyyy. no amount of peeing helps.

and hopefully if its like this past month tomorrow or next day it will be gone.

the baby moves around constantly so its not like he is in one evil position nonstop so i still dont understand how it can get SOOOOOOO severe on and off.

please dont tell me i am the only one with this back and forth issue .....30w btw

gahhh

OMG I am having the same bladder issues this week!! It started with low pressure and cramping..so I tested for a UTI. OB said it was a very mild one. Well...lemme tell you...it did not feel mild. i am almost done with the medication, and some symptoms have cleared up..but OMG the bladder pain is ridiculous. LO is moving more than ever and is totally beating up my bladder! I feel like I have to pee all the time and no amount of peeing helps. I feel like everything in there is sooo low even though I haven't "dropped" yet. There are times when I need to stop moving and I literally bend over in pain. I noticed that all of this is a lot more tolerable when I am sitting down.

I totally feel your pain on this one! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: does anyone get extreme pressure every few days?

Im 22 weeks and I wouldnt say I get extreme pressure, but I notice if I do too much or am on my feet too much in 1 day I get an uncomfortable tight sometimes pressure feeling in my belly and I have to pee every 5 minutes literally, no exagerration. I will go to the bathroom, lay down and have to get RIGHT BACK up to pee again!

And it actually hurts when my bladder fills up... Like it hurts to walk... And yes it feels like honestly, the baby is sitting ON my bladder pushing it...

My Dr said when I get that feeling just get off my feet... So thats what I do...

Re: does anyone get extreme pressure every few days?

In general I just have a lot of pressure down there every day. SOme days are worse then others. On Sunday, after the busy weekend and doing way too much in one day, I could barely walk. I vacuumed the whole house, cleaned the bathroom, mopped the downstairs, and took a 1-mile walk with the dog on Sunday and by 7:30 pm I was holding onto things to walk from room to room. I felt like my legs were going to give out on me. The pressure at that point felt like it was on my sciatic nerve which was making it hard to work. Sometimes the pressure is on my bladder. Sometimes the pressure is right on my cervix.

I think it is just that the baby is sitting very low at this point. I am 36w5d so I am nearing the end. I was thinking Sunday night that I can't imagine ever getting back to my 15 mile bike rides, 4-5 mile walk/jogs, and Zumba classes, and then I reminded myself that this feeling is only temporary and so much of it will be relieved when the baby is born!

I get this is as well. When it happens I can BARELY walk. It usually passes within a minute or so. But always comes back at some point later in the day.

I dont think there has been a day since early in the thirdtrimester where I havent felt this at least or twice during the day.
