Anyone have any morning sickness remedies?

I am almost 9 weeks and I just can’t kick the morning sickness. It seems so much worse this time then it was with my 1st pregnancy.

I’ve tired ginger ale, crackers, those lolly pops from BRU, nothing seems to be working.

Re: Anyone have any morning sickness remedies?

This is my 3rd pregnancy and by far the worst in terms of nausea/vomiting.
With my first two having small frequent meals, mostly carbs (crackers, goldfish, pretzels) helped.
This time I needed zofran (16 weeks and weaning myself off it) but I used Emetrol, Sea Bands, B-6 (only the Emetrol works)
and in terms of food peppermints or peppermint gum, pineapple with the fresh juice, water with a hint of lemon, and dry plain cereal (chex, cheerios, shredded wheat). HTH!Chat Icon

Re: Anyone have any morning sickness remedies?

My mom asked her holistic doctor for me, but mine has started easing up recently so I haven't tried it. He said to cut off a slice of real ginger and stick it in your armpit (kind of hold it in there). Not sure how long you're supposed to do it for, or if it really works.

Good luck, and I hope it eases up for you soon!

Re: Anyone have any morning sickness remedies?

The only thing that worked for me was Zofran. I started taking it at 7 weeks and I was just able to wean myself off of it at 10.

Sometimes those microwaveable soft pretzels that you can find in the freezer section help me. I don't add the salt, just eat the pretzel. And I have gingerale with it. I guess it's the same idea as crackers, but because it's warm and soft, I find it more comforting.
