Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
Has anyone ever had any negative issues with Dr. Nataloni's Office in Mt. Sinai? We have been seeing Dr. Wolf, and we are just a bit skeptical of her. Not sure she's very confident in her decisions, and tends to make us very worried over nothing. Our son is 4 months old and has already been to two specialists. The one specialist he actually NEEDED to see (Gastro) she denied and she minimized his issues. When I took it upon myself to take him, we changed formulas and he was a different baby! Please let me know, as we are looking to change to Mid Suffolk Pediatrics in Mt. Sinai.

I have seen other people complain about Dr. Wolf as well. We saw her once for a sick visit. I felt like she minimalized an issue we were having as well, and just kind of laughed it off. I do like the NP though. We have only see Dr. Nataloni herself once though.

Call or make an appt. with Dr. Aleyas or Nataloni. I had a problem with Wolf's advice and called back for advice from one of the other doctors. Both called back and were very helpful. I usually don't see Wolf, seeing her was an error and I did not like how she treated me or my baby...log story. Everyone else there is awesome.

We've seen the other Dr. (Alaiya?) I might be spelling that wrong. And one of the NP's there, I want to say her name was Michelle? She has brown hair and a slight drifting eye. I don't know...in my gut I think it's time to change. I called Mid Suffolk and have an appt on Fri. We'll see how it goes I guess. I very much appreciate your comments ladies, thank you!

Hi, Newbie here! More of a lurker, finally decided to register. Anyway, when I go there I make sure to only see Dr. Nataloni or Dr. Aleus (spelling?). I never had a serious issue with Dr. Wolf, I just felt she kind of rushed us the one time I did see her.

Re: Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
Totally. I agree. She tends to rush, and definitely laugh things off. I just heard from an unbiased source last week that their office has quite a reputation for scaring parents and over referring out to specialists for common "baby" quirks that they typically outgrow. I feel like we are those parents. I feel like every time we go in there Dr. Wolf finds something else to have us worry about. But by the weeks end, whatever it was goes away. Like minor things that are not worth such worry! Grrr...very frustrated!

Re: Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
Yes! I will never see Dr. Wolf again unless it's emergent and there is nobody else there. She constantly second guesses her decisions and makes you worry about everything. I have walked out of the office crying on several occasions because of her over NOTHING! She also misdiagnosed my step-daughter and made us all think something was seriously wrong over a very little issue that a dermatologist corrected. DS is 8 months and has since only been seen by Dr. Nataloni as per my request. Erica is a doll and Dr. A ( not sure of the spelling) is also nice. I actually almost switched Dr's offices because of Dr. Wolf but since I have been seeing Dr. Nataloni there have been no issues.

Re: Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
wow I'm really surprised by how many people don't care for Dr Wolf. I'm on that list also I only make appointments with Erica but if it was a sick visit for a last min call they always got me in with Dr Wolf now I know why!! No one wants to see her I wonder if they know this. I didn't care for how she treated my daugher one time but we made her write out a script some time you have to stand your grounds. Other then that I do love the practice

Re: Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
Another Dr. Wolf disliker here! I won't see her. I find her wacky and not someone whom I would trust in my DD's care! After hearing how many feel this way, we should all send an anonymous letter to Dr. Nataloni, how can she not realize it already? I often wonder if she'll be retiring soon. I do like the practice a lot though, otherwise. I especially like Erica.

Re: Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
I felt like I was in a mom-petition with Dr Wolf. "Well MY SON had this many signs, and this many words". She made me feel like a bad parent because I thought DD was doing fine, and we had DD evaluated by EI because of what Dr Wolf said. Evaluator said DD was doing well and not to worry. Love everything else about the practice though. The NPs Erica & Sarah are great! Even the office staff is great there.

Re: Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
Reading this thread is making me so upset. While I am glad that I am not the only one that feels this way about Dr. Wolf, I am also angry that she is making so many parents feel this way. It is unsettling.

Has anyone thought about writing an anon letter to the practice or talking to someone to make them aware of how she is making people feel? She cannot change if she know's nothing is wrong.

Re: Problems with Dr. Nataloni's Office? (Mt. Sinai)
I've been going to this office for 3 years and love Dr. Nataloni, Erica, Sarah and Dr. Alesas. I had 2 bad encounters with Dr. Wolf. I felt the same way many of you have felt. She rushed through the visit, talked constantly about her kid and could not stop flipping her hair. On top of that she gave my daughter a lollipop without asking me first. I actually wrote Dr. Nataloni a letter (email) back in October 2011,voicing my concerns. She responded right away and apologized and said that some of my issues would be addressed. We now have a note in my daughters file that we do not see her. Maybe if Dr. Nataloni gets more letters she will get rid of her, she probably doesn't know how upset Dr. Wolf is making the families.

I don't know Dr. Wolf, but left that practice before my 2nd DD was born. (Feel free to FM me for details). I would definitely write a letter to Dr. Nataloni expressing your concern about this Dr. Wolf. She shouldn't be making so many people unhappy!
