Was/Is your baby very vocal at 6 months?
Just kinda wondering, I know that every baby is different. Jacob is 6 months today and really isnt very vocal. No sounds like aaa, baaa, daaa, gaaaa. Nothing really at all. Just very WHINEY!! He whines all day... when he plays with something, whines, wants something, whines.. tired..whines.. hungry.. whines.. its so MADDENING!!!  I know he hears fine, I call his name and he turns to me, or if there is a loud noise he turns in the direction of the noise. I talk to him all day as I do things, and show him things and say what they are and sing songs. He doesnt imitate any sounds i make either. You know you read those baby books and it tells you about milestones and certain ages, and even though i know every baby develops at a different pace just wondering if anyone else's baby was not so vocal at this point. Thanks everyone!!

Alyson doesn't shush up! She has quiet moments but she is a talker! She also screeches!
She does the ma-ma-ma sound when she gets mad/frustrated
she does the da-da-da (or is it ba-ba-ba)
she does alot of cooing and laaaaaa-ing
and I repeat it back to her and she loves it.
