More Backsplash Help Needed
After an exhaustive search of no less than a dozen tile stores, DH and I found tile we love (I think even more than the discontinued tile I posted about). Problem is the price. We were given a price of $30 per square foot MORE than our budget!!  I almost fell over from the shock of the price quote.
Has anyone seen anything like this anywhere?

Is that marble? I saw something similar at cancos on Merrick but it was circles in squares ifthat makes sense. Did u try bargaining with them? Tile stores will go down quite a bit.

It's actually a combination of natural stone and glass with the carved mosaics. I haven't tried bargaining - yet. I spoke with a sales clerk who took my info to give it to the owner of the store. I did tell her it was $30 per square foot over the budget.

Lowes has the ornament tiles in a metal.
I've seen what Lowes has. They had the first tile I loved that is discontinued. This tile comes as shown in an 11 1/2 by 12 inch sheet.
