Hysteroscopy & d&c

Happy birthday to me. Just got back from my internal sonogram and the fibroid/polyp is pretty big. They got me in for mon for a hysteroscopy. My dr said I'll be under a general anestethia so I won't feel anything. For those who have had it done did your dr do both the hysteroscopy and d&c at the same time? My dr had said it was two seperate procedures but when I booked the procedure it says both on the form. I'm nervous. My dr is also sending me for another progesterone test bc my results came back low normal. I almost started crying in her office because I'm scared of the procedures and I just want to be able to get pg like everyone else around me. Next month will be 14 months.

Yes, I had both done at the same time. Youre asleep for it. When you wake you may feel some cramping but nothing terrible. I went home and stayed in bed that day when it was over.

I had both done as well! I think that's usually the case. I was so anxious about it as well esp the anesthesia but it really wasn't bad-- afterward it was some very very light cramps that I barely noticed. if you have any other questions feel free to message me.
