So...when do you "drop"?

Just wondering! People at work are telling me that my belly is "dropping", but I am only at 31 weeks..that seems a lil early.

Re: So...when do you "drop"?

People told me the same thing about a week ago when I was also 31 weeks. I asked the doctor about it and she said it was nothing to worry about and that your stomach will constantly change depending on the position of the baby.

That makes total sense. thanks!

I was so afraid that by "dropping", the baby was literally laying on your bladder for the last few weeks. Chat Icon

I thought the same exact thing! But nope, you're ok. My belly has since made its way back up. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: So...when do you "drop"?

I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and I think I've dropped a bit. And I had a sono yesterday and ds's head is most definitely right on my bladder, even the sono tech was surprised at how he was literally using my bladder as a pillow.
