Baby Boy Crib Bedding
Any Ideas. I am having such a hard time finding something I like that is not a fortune. I am not into the themes I like Glenna Jean Preston and Grayson, and Banana Fish Logan. Everything is just so expensive.

Are you having a shower? You'd be surprised what people will buy. Some people may also chip in together to buy the bedding.

Re: Baby Boy Crib Bedding
We have a vintage sailboat theme going but it's not really theme-ish if you know what I mean. We have white walls with a blue accent wall, an old weathered oar on the wall, and an old sailboat on a shelf. We picked out the madras bedding from Pottery Barn Kids because it doesn't have a theme on it, I wanted something sort of plain.

Re: Baby Boy Crib Bedding
I love the Pottery Barn Kids beddings sets. But this is the set we are going with. It is very simple. If we have a boy it will be a "Rock Star" theme so this is simple enough to go along with that easily. We will decorate with some of DH's framed albums, and hang a few of his guitars on the walls.
We are Team Green so we have both boy and girl bedding picked out and we'll purchase it after the baby is born.

Re: Baby Boy Crib Bedding
To be honest I don't think you even need bedding. I just have a cute sheet in my ds's crib and it looks great! I never used bumpers and had no issues. I have a blanket draped over my glider but it's not part of a set. I think in a boys room especially you definitely don't need a set!!

Re: Baby Boy Crib Bedding
I'm not a theme-y person either so I'm actually going to mix and match to create my own 'preppy/rugby' nursery if this baby is a boy.
Check out Restoration Hardware as well - they have non-theme sets, that's where we got my 2nd son's.

This is ours - we're going to do white wainscoting and light blue above the wainscotting. No particular theme - maybe some monkeys around the room bc we call him a monkey already Image Attachment(s):

Re: Baby Boy Crib Bedding
I did not buy a bedding set this time around. For my DD it was a big waste of money. She has the Glenna Jean set and the quilt material is fancy and it's not something a baby/toddler can sleep with. When we lowered her crib we got rid of the dust ruffle b/c it was hanging on the floor. So this time we just got the sheet, toddler blanket and mobile from Pottery Barn for DS. It's the Kingston set..blue & brown. Not into themes either.

Re: Baby Boy Crib Bedding
DH and I were thinking about sports since we are both big sports fans. Then, I suggested what about dogs? We have a dog and we want the baby to grow up feeling comfortable around them. When I was in Babies R Us I saw the perfect set. I am very excited about it.
I don't know why the image isn't showing up. Here is the link

Re: Baby Boy Crib Bedding
I just registered for a green, blue and a yellow crib sheet, a blue and then a green crib skirt, and green accent stuff.
Our "theme" is Medieval Knights and Dragons (cute dragons though) and FIL is doing a mural to tie in the theme. So basically, when it comes to the bedding, I just went plain and with the color scheme that the mural will be in.
