New here

Hello All .. Just wanted to introduce myself... I'm new to the forum and am starting at step one with my complications of getting pregnant. I have tried to do as much searching as I can on here before posting I still have some questions and was hoping to get some advice. I have to make an appointment with an RE and I'm not sure which to choose. I've read many comments on here and I'm sure it's been asked a thousand times but if you could give your opinion once more I'd really appreciate it! I was referred to Dr. Bronson, Dr. Lydic or Dr. Droesch .. but those are just names my gyno gave me. I am willing to go anywhere for a great doctor. I have a pretty extensive medical history, plagued with major surgeries. So after the long road I've been down in the past, I'm looking for someone who has a good bedside manner.. I'm sick of being a number. I've read a lot about LI IVF and RSofNY here and I know the doctors I previously mentioned are connected with them. I am located in Northport and will be using Stony Brook hospital. Don't know if any of that info helps but any information you guys could share would be extremely helpful! TIA!

I'm a fairly new patient of Dr. Droesch at LI IVF, and right off the bat I felt very comfortable speaking with her about our situation and creating a game plan for what to do next. She takes the time to explain everything to you, and goes over all of the testing you have to have done, etc. As far as the office itself goes, everyone at the Melville location are sweethearts. They time the appointments, so your only waiting with maybe 2 or 3 couples in the waiting room (all for different doctors), and I haven't had to wait any longer than 5 minutes before being called in. It's like a well oiled machine over there lol.

hi! i'm new too. i'd recommend my RE bc he has a wonderful bedside manner as does his staff, but he's in midtown manhattan. the office feels like a spa!

if bedside manner is very important to you and youve had previous losses or auto-immune issues, DEF see dr. braverman in woodbury. he is THE BEST!! here is his info. good luck! hope your stay here is short!

Welcome I also recommend LI IVF. They're statisitics for pregnancy and live birth are higher than the national average. I found them to be extremely careful with protocol (in terms of putting me on the least amount of meds possible to get a poositive outcome)
My Dr is Dr Brenner. The only thing I have to say is that the Dr controls your protocol and answers all your questions but depending on your schhedule (and mother nature) you may have a different doctor doing the procedure.
so, although Dr brenner is my dr, I had dr kennigsberg do my retrievaal and dr kukanen do my transfer.
They have all been wonderful. OVerall I am extrememly pleased with :LI IVF. Very organized and efficient and they remember my case every time I call.
Its defiinitely a personable experience.
