Nervous about tingling thigh

I am in my 13th week. Ever since last week I started to experience a tingling/numbness in my right outer thigh that sometimes spreads all the way down my leg to my foot.. it also gets bad when I am sleeping at night as well. I looked up on google and i read about 'meralgia parasthetica" (spelling may be off) and they said it could be due due to pregnancy/weight gain, but I'm also hoping its not a clot or anything (not even sure how they would diagnose this!)... I have my next doc appt on Wednesday so I guess I will ask then but I can't help but worry!

I had numbness and tingling in my left thigh when pregnant with ds. It went form my thigh to just below my knee. It didn't completely go away until after dd was born 2 years later. I asked about clots since I have a clotting disorder and was told you usually (but not always) have pain with a clot. If you are concerned call your ob. If s/he suspects a clot they can check the blood flow in your leg It scared me when it first happened but I got used to it after a while.

It sounds like your sciatica . The baby is propably leaning on it . It happened to me 3 out of my 4 pregnancies ,and didn't go away until after I delivered . I would still talk to your doc though !

I would call your doctor.

I had a clot in my left inner thigh ~ If it gets painful and the pain increases call your doctor. I would rather be safe than sorry ~ I walked around with my clot in my leg for a week before I went to the doctor, it was very painful

I had 3 clots in my leg. I had intense pain, swelling and redness in my leg. They do a sono to diagnose it.
