Animal kingdom safari

Will I be able to go on this if I'm 6 months pregnant? Also, DS will be 2, can he go on it too?

Eh that is a tough question. I went on it but I was only 5 weeks on DD's 1st trip - I spoke to my OB before I went since we were trying to see what they allowed and what they recommended that I avoid.

It IS one of the rides that they recommend that you avoid but I know many pregnant women who rode (ask to ride in the front where it is less bouncy IF you ride). I would personally defer to my OB's advice though - if they say don't ride it I would avoid it. It IS very bouncy.

As far as your 2 year old - there is no height restriction for that ride.

If you go to allearsnet.com - there is a section that has ride restrictions (what height you must be to ride) and there is also a section about what to avoid when pregnant.

My OB only restricted me to anything that was a roller coaster or a centrifuge. Basically almost everything (except I think it was the tea cups) that doesn't have a height restriction was safe. So unless you have a very tall child (over 40 inches) anything your DC can ride will probably be okay for you.

What Christine said. Speak with your OB. It does tell pregnant women not to ride. I've been on it when it has been not so bumpy, and when it's been very bumpy. You can ask to sit in the front.
