when did you start feeling better?

I'm almost 9 weeks and so tired all the time, zero energy level, all I want is sleep or just sit around and do nothing at all . I'm also very nauseous and throwing up almost every night . In short I feel like cr@p Chat Icon

If you felt this way in the first trimester when did you start feeling better ?

Re: when did you start feeling better?

i was just going to ask the same question! I'm 8 weeks and I'm nauseous, i felt like I was going to faint and I had a migraine today :(

Everyone keeps telling me you will feel better in the 2nd trimester but I keep thinking they're pulling my leg :(

Re: when did you start feeling better?

I am 11 weeks and starting to feel a little better, but not by much. With my DS I wasn't feeling back to normal until 16 weeks.

Re: when did you start feeling better?

I started feeling better around week 12. I'm in my 13th week now though and the exhaustion is still there and the occasional sickness/nausea but I am able to do a lot more than I was able to do at 8-9 weeks.

Re: when did you start feeling better?

I think I was about 14-16 weeks when I started to feel back to myself again. But now that I'm in the glorious 3rd tri, the MS and nausea has come back! Hope it does't happen to you!! Chat Icon

Re: when did you start feeling better?

With my first, I started to feel much better about 14-15 weeks. This time I felt much better by 11-12 weeks. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Re: when did you start feeling better?

I was nauseous on/off from week 8-12. I finally feel great at 14 weeks. If it wasn't for the belly that I'm getting (baby #3), I wouldn't feel pregnant at all.

Re: when did you start feeling better?

For me the morning sickness was gone around 14 weeks. I didnt feel that second trimester 'burst of energy' until like 23-24 weeks and it was very short lived. Then again I have had horrible insomnia since I basically got my BFP so that doent help much with the fatigue.

Re: when did you start feeling better?

For me it was after I gave birth. The throwing up was just replaced by something else.

I never felt good

Re: when did you start feeling better?

this is going to sound silly , but tired part is what's killing me more than being nauseous and throwing up. they are both terrible, but having a toddler and being tired like this is terrible, no energy, I feel so bad because I don't feel like doing anything, don't even have energy to play with my DD or go out with DD or anything. Breaks my heart , I know she doesn't understand, I try my best but I constantly feel like I'm going to pass out I'm so tired, sleepy.
This is not me, I am such an energetic, on the go, active person, always planning things to do with DD, my house is always clean, dinner cooked, errands done , I work out , so on and so on. But this past 5 weeks or so have been so bad, my house is always a big mess, barely get to cook dinner, haven't worked out at all, I missed DD's play date last week because I had a dr's visit and by the time I got home I was exhausted. I just feel like I have been a terrible mother to my baby and it breaks my heart.
I just want my energy back ! Chat Icon

Re: when did you start feeling better?

I started feeling like myself again around 14 weeks. But now, at 25 weeks- the tiredness is back with a vengeance.
