What are things that are necessites that I should put on my registry?
I really want to only put things on my registry that I am REALLY going to use and that are practical.. not just because they look cute or are a luxury. What are some things you have found are absolutely a must?

The number 1 registry item for me was the swing! I have the fisher price little lamb swing. She slept for hours in it! She also had colic and it was one of the only things that calmed her.
Other things
Swaddle Me blankets
Angelcare Monitor  I didn't get it for my shower. I purchased it after she was born and once I got it I finally slept a little and stopped checking her breathing every 2 mins. Still using it at 17 months.
Snap and Go
Infant carseat
infant tub
Crib & Crib Sheets
pack n play/bassinet
high chair
Diaper Creams/Body Wash/Nail Clipper

Boppy Pillow
Bibs
Burp Cloths (use cloth diapers!)
Extra Sheets (3x maybe)
Infant Medicine (tylenol, mylicon drops, nose spray, thermometer, etc)
Grooming/Safety Kit (nail clippers, nail file, comb, toothbrush, etc)
Video Monitor
Sound Machine
Diaper Bag
Onesies
Blankets (people will buy lots of those anyway)
That's all I could think so far!

Video Montior ( Best gift ever, still using it and DS is almost 3)

Snap and go ( You don't have to get this, but I loved this item so much. Just so light weight and easy to use)
Fisher Price Rock and play sleeper (Okay so I never used this yet, since they didn't have it out when DS was born. I just bought one for DS #2 but I have heard nothing but raves about it from everyone.)
Cloth diapers to use for burp cloths
Bottles
Pacis
Boppy pillow or Brest friend pillow
extra cover for either pillow
Baby bath tub
Wash cloths
Baby towels
At least 3 crib sheets
Changing table pad and at least two to three covers
Waterproof mattress cover for crib
Sheet savers
Bouncer seat
Swing (Loved my swing, but try to get a one that swings forward and side to side. My DS only liked the side to side motion. Would sleep in it forever)
Recieving blankets (I recommend Aden +anais ones)
Baby blanket
Rectal thermometer
Grooming kit

Pack and play ( If you need one)

Do not register for clothes or bibs. You will need these things obviously BUT you will get TONS AND TONS so many that you will have to return a lot.
