Baby Shower Invitees Question

How did you choose who to invite? I am going through the list from my bridal shower and thinking not all those people should be invited to the baby shower right? Like of course immediate fam, aunts, cousins, friends are invited, but what about parents' cousins, people OOS that arent close in line, etc

What did you do? How many guests did you have? In most cases, is it a smaller event than the bridal shower? Im wracking my brain on this... Half of the people invited to my bridal shower on DH's side, I dont even remember

So very lost... And these have to go out ASAP

I did my family, his that we talk to, some of his friends wives, my friends and my co-workers.

DH has a huge family, and I wanted to keep it under 50. We kept it to very immediate family and some of my close friends. My MIL wanted to invite her friends but thank God DH told her no.
My bridal shower was almost 80 ppl because MIL invited almost every woman she knows!!!

I too started with my bridal shower and then cut and added from there. I had 2 showers (one for each side of the family) so it seemed liked it was smaller than my bridal shower but I actually think it ended up about the same.

We only did family and close friends.

Okay.. thanks girls... Think I have it under control now LOL ... I was able to cut some.. Otherwise I didnt have enough invitations
