Questions about glider

A teacher at my school gave me her sons old glider. It looks like it was bought in the last few years. Its a beautiful glider, but the cushions however are stained. Does anyone know if you can just buy the cushions or get covers for them?

I was able to find cushions for my brand but I decided against it b/c they were still expensive and at that point I would rather just purchase a new glider. I also found that the replacement cushions for mine were not made to fit my model, just a general replacement. The reviews said that the replacements didn't fit as well as the originals. Try some oxyclean or renting an upholstery cleaner w/a hand attachment to see if that will take the stains out.

What brand is the glider? I know you can purchase cushions and if its not that expensive its DEF better than the price of a new glider... I say look into it, contact the company, google to see if any other companies make the cushions for your glider and if its not that expensive then go for it!

I think that it might just be cheaper to get a company to come in and steam clean the cushions. I see ads for companies that do this in those val-pac envelopes that get sent in the mail and it doesn't sound all that expensive to be honest.

So you may want to look into something like that.

Or...do you have someone who knows how to sew that you know? A relative or a friend of the family. How awesome would it be if they could custom make slip-covers for the glider cushions in a fabric of your chosing?
