BTDT moms...Spitting up???
Another question; I am full of them today.
How much spit up is too much? DD always spits up a little but the past 3 days she spits up 10-15 minutes after I am done burping her, about 25 minutes after eating. I am EBF'ing it looks like water and is not a ton but enough to have me concerned. Is this normal? TIA

I'm sure it's normal, it could be a little reflux that's making her spit up more though. We went through this with Katie - her ped put her on Zantac.
As long as the baby is gaining weight nicely I dont think its anything to be worried about but you could ask your ped.

Thanks for your response Kathy!
I decided to call the pediatrician and he said it is probably reflux. We have an appointment to see the ped. tomorrow. He said that she may have to be put on zantac. I am concerned about giving her zantac at her age. i don't want to have her medicated if she truly does not need to be.
Does anyone have any holistic remedies for reflux? I will ask the ped tomorrow, but I am open to any suggestions.

Good luck with the ped The Zantac isnt bad - I had it flavored grape because its pretty awful tasting. She gets .5 ml 3z a day.

Honestly if she's not in pain I probably wouldn't medicate her. Miranda had reflux and spit up constantly and wasn't gaining weight when she was younger. It was clear that she needed something to help the discomfort. Once we did a few trials without meds at 4 months and realized she wasn't in any pain when she was spitting up we stopped giving her medication.
