Ah the sweet taste of Breast Milk

Right...so BM is so much nicer tasting than formula. Even I know that. So the question is, how do I get this terror to take the formula...I don't care if he likes it. He just has to eat it.

I am nearing the end of my pumping days....and I am trying to give him a bottle of formula daily to get him used to it.

Whats the secret. How do you get someone to drink something that tastes totally disgusting every day for oh, the better part of a year???

hmm... I'm not the most experienced in this area but maybe try mixing the formula in with the BM little by little? I had the opposite problem, Jake preferred the formula to my BM. I think it was too thin and watery for him. He would make a face whenever I gave him the BM.

I mixed the BM and formula for Caiden when I started giving him it. He didn't notice a difference. Then I started adding in the whole milk as well when he was around 1.

It's definitely better to mix it up so they have time to get used to it.
