More questions about Pumpkin Pie, specifically the dough
So, definitely making the pumpkin pie this thanksgiving wiht Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin. I don't want to use the pre-made crust though, I am just not a fan. So, I would like to use this recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/butter-flaky-pie-crust/
Do you think it would be OK with the pumpkin pie? I will just be making the bottom and using decorative cut outs from left over dough and placing them on the top.
My other question is, how far in advanced can I make it? I know it needs to be children in the fridge overnight but can I make it on Tuesday and make the pie Thursday morning?
