Going to the hockey game tonight

Sorry but I'm not a hockey girl..i have no idea what to wear to this.

We are going to a bar first then the game.

I brought with me jeans, a long sleeved shirt with a hoodie sweatshirt to go over.

Wearing booties or sneakers. Haven't decided.

will I be warm enough? Should I also go with a jacket?

I'm also not feeling that great.

What you have should be fine. Although I'd bring another coat if you have one...it can get kind of chilly in there. DH is a huge hockey fan and I always freeze at the games.

Re: Going to the hockey game tonight

you will be fine...jeans and a long sleeved shirt is perfect. As for shoes - whichever you are more comfy in.....
if you are the type to get cold easily, I would bring an extra jacket just in case, it can get chilly especially if you are sitting closer to the ice.
People wear everything, sweats, jeans, jerseys, men in suits coming from after work....
Have fun!!!

Re: Going to the hockey game tonight

I schlepped my cothes with me to the city so I could change here and go directly to the bar. I just want to be warm and look cute but I don't get cold easily. I have no idea where we are sitting but for the price of the ticket I don't think we are close to the ice.

Thanks for affirming that what I bought works. I also brought leggings but I think I would be cold in those.

We were in the 300 section. WHat I wore was fine.

Islanders lost but the Ranger fans are very funny.

I'm not a fan of the Colliseum. I really think it needs a major overhaul.

It so does. I was there too. Hockey fans are some of the funniest, most passionate fans i've ever seen.

How do you think the guy who was fighting feels today? He went down the whole flight of stairs on his back.

I didn't see that. What period did that happen in?

Thanks for the update. I'm going to a game tomorrow and was curious if you were warm enough.

The 3rd. There was a fight in my section ( I think i was in 308?) and then another on the same side opposite corner. It was BAD.
