I saw one...
A big ole STRETCHMARK.
Anything I can put on my belly not to get anymore? What have you all been using? This blows!

I use the Palmers Cocoa butter lotion and tummy butter. I used them religiously during my 1st pregnancy and plan to do the same this time around too.

I use the palmers too. I actually mix the lotion and oil together in my palms and then rub it in really good. 37 weeks and no stretch marks yet...fingers crossed!

i used mustella with DD since 12 weeks and not a single stretch mark.
i am 12w now and started using mustella again, and a scrub on my belly when i shower.

Thanks gals I am going to pick up the Palmers during lunch and will go to Babies R Us tommorrow to pick up the Mustella. My SIL swears by it I should have listened to her from the beginning.
Do you gals put on the lotion once a day or various times?

Sadly, there really isn't anything you can do to prevent stretch marks. It's all genetics. If you're going to get them, you'll get them, no matter what you use. Some products can somewhat lighten the appearance of them, and most can help with the itchiness. But aside from that, there's nothing you can do but hope and pray!

in the beginning when the belly doesnt stretch out that much i put it on once a day, later on i put it 2x, morning and night. i also applied to my thighs/butt area and chest area as well.

It was $40 but I justified getting it from there bc I had a friends and family 20% off coupon

Not to sound like an idiot but what exactly does the stretch mark look like? If I had any would I just know it? Did you look for it or just happen to see it? I can see that I have the linea nigra line- that is very obvious...

Bio-oil and mederma really helped to llghten mine after my first. Sadly if you are going to get them, there is nothing you can do to stop them.

I went 41 weeks last pregnancy with no stretch marks.. It was the only time I loved my stomach.. but guess what... They show there ugly head after I delivered and it all shrunk back down. nothing to do to prevent them.. oh well c section scar and stretch marks.. they are my battle scars..
