UGGGH Zantac
I finally went and got some Zantac after trying to cure my heartburn naturally and it doesn't even WORK for me.  I'm suffering. What do you ladies do?

Have you tried pepcid complete? My OB recommended that to me and it's been working so far. Feel better!

I drink a ton of milk. just in the last week I have had such terrible issues that tums doesn't work for. I drink milk and more milk. I also try to keep my diet bland later in the day
DH put a tiny fridge in our bedroom so I can keep milk in there. I drink it all night

good to know, maybe I'll try that instead. OB okayed the zantac and pepcid for me.
And I am drinking milk too but it doesn't work as well as a vanilla shake from mcdonalds  trying not to make that a habit

Try pepcid AC and supplement with Tums when you really need something extra.

So far Pepcid has been the best thing and after 1 week taking it I no longer have to take one everyday. I take one every other day.

I have heard a natural remeady is papaya extract. Google it and see if you like it!
I have GERD so I take 40mg Prilosec in the am and 150mg Zantac before bed. I still wake up choking on vomit and tums do nothing. A nice glass of milk helps, but be careful because for many people dairy can cause heartburn. For me the Prilosec is the big winner, but what I really need is Nexium and my insurance refuses to cover it
