Someone take away my handblender!!!
I have gone a little nutso with the pureeing...I can't seem to stop!!!
I have done anything that can be steamed and blended...figs, sweet potatoes, parsnips, carrots, onions, lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, steak, chicken fried steak, Egg foo young....
Okay just joking about the stuff at the end...but I love my handblender!

Well, I steam my veggies until they are soft, and just blend away! I save some of the cooking water if the vegs need to be a bit looser...its easy peasy lemon squeezy! and so much cheaper and yummier than food from jars!!

oohhh...I'd love to have one of those!!! I mash ours with the potato masher or a fork...DD seems to be ok with that much texture

I use my food mill for the same thing and went crazy with it --- it's fun to give them thier own versions of what you are having for dinner.

I was debating whether I should get a food mill or not. If I have a food processor it would be about the same thing right...just a much bigger b*tch to clean?
