ladies who spotted throughout pregnancy

i am 11w2d pregnant wtih #2
ive had spotting (mostly dark brown/dried blood) since even before I even found out I was pregnant. Ive been to my doc many times, everything was ok baby growing etc.etc.
i also noticed that i would spot/ or bleed after DH and i did the deed, so after the last time which was 2 weeks ago- we stopped doing the deed, i said im tooo scared etc,etc plus i spoke with the nurse at my ob and she said well your cervix is telling you something if everytinme you do the deeed you bleed, you should probably stop, she had asked me if i wanted to come in and if the spotting doesnt stop to def come in, i knew it would stop and 3 days later it stopped. well i was 2 weeks completely OK. and this morning I wake up and I'm spotting again, dark brown/dried blood.
We didnt do the deed.
My 12 week appt is Monday.
Ladies who spotted, was this the case, that it was so random? on and off?
any advice is greatly appreciated.
im wondering if i should call and go in or just wait till monday to talk to my doc.
ugh this is so frustrating since i had no spotting with baby#1.
This just scares me.

I've been bleeding for the last 10 weeks (am 15 weeks today). I had the same issue when I was pregnant w/ the boys (sub chorionic hematoma). It's more than just spotting w/ me. When I first started, I kept calling the dr freaking out. Now I'm almost used to seeing blood every freaking time I go to the bathroom. It is frustrating and scary.

It is pretty random. I def bleed every day but it is worse on the days when I am more active. Always the worst on Sunday night after I spent the weekend w/ the kids.

If you're worried, just call the dr! It can't hurt. If nothing else, it will put your mind at ease.

I spotted throughout my last pregnancy and am spotting through this one as well. Although it's alarming as anything to see, it can be totally normal.

For my last pregnancy, it was only brown and would happen randomly in the first and second trimester. My OB told me that sometimes, spotting has nothing to do with the baby and it just happens - when they couldn't figure out what was causing it.

For this pregnancy - I've had heavier spotting and at times pinkish/red. It started later in the first tri and carried over into the second tri. I've gone to the ER while on vacation and my OB about it and everything else looks fine and they are not concerned (although it makes me so nervous when I see it!)

I would call teh dr for peace of mind - that's what they are there for.

I started bleeding red

Hopefully you are like me, I spot red also. I did during my pregnancy with my son and with this one also. Just because I have gone through it, doesn't make it any less scary and I'm sorry you are going through it

I was spotting up to 16 weeks with this pregnancy and at 12 weeks I believe I had some red blood also. For u, I know it's scary.

Just wanted to say thanks ladies . Baby is doing just fine
Measuring exactly 11w2d, my cervix was measured as well and everything seems to be fine.
I might have to be monitored closely, seen every 2 weeks to monitor my cervix. (since I've had the leep procedure in June) I go in Tuesday so the tech will measure my cervix lining

So
Relieved. Hopefully this doesn't cause problems further in the pregnancy
