should I be worried? UPDATED
So I'm 25 weeks and I'm a little worried about baby's movements...
I've been feeling movements and kicking, etc pretty regularly for the last few weeks...then last week in particular the baby was NUTS...punching and kicking to the point of being uncomfortable at times!!! It was non stop mostly at night while I'm on the couch, or laying in bed...but even during the day last week when I normally don't feel anything, I'd feel a little here and there...
now this week so far I have hardly felt anything...a mild kick here or there, that's about it...last night I felt like 2-3 kicks in a row, and then it stopped...
but that's the most excitement or movement I've felt since last weekend...
Is it normal for the movement to suddenly decrease like that?? Is it too early to be worried about inconsistencies in movement??
I dont want to call the dr and sound like the crazy paranoid 1st time preggo lady!!!
i really miss feeling LO move at night though, I look forward to it and Ive been sad not feeling that.
UPDATE: Called the doctor just to see what they thought of it and they made me come right in...but when they did the sono it turns out the baby moved into a "frank" breech position...it's ina V shape, so it makes it alot harder to feel the movements. Was very relieved to see/hear everything is good!!! Dr said if I realize I don't feel LO all day, make a point of laying on my side for an hour, and if I don't feel movements 4 times, then to call...

Re: should I be worried?
you shouldn't be worried. the baby is probably going thru a growth spurt and they sleep a lot more when that happens. I've had a few of those weeks where one week baby is totally crazy and the next I hardly feel it for a few days.
if your really worried they say drink 3 glasses of cold water and lay on your left side. if you don't feel the baby for 1 hour, call the dr.
I always feel the baby move when I lay down at night even when the growth spurts happened, so I was reassured by that at night

Re: should I be worried?
I also think it's totally normal. When I see that the baby isn't moving as much I lay down flat when I get home. This normally gets Baby moving tons and reassures me that everything is ok in there

Re: should I be worried?
I think its normal- same thing happened to me when I was about 27-28 w and I called the doctor's ofice to make sure that everything was ok. I thought they would tell me to lay on my side, count kicks etc etc but they told me I HAD to go in to Labor and Delivery for a non stress test and sonogram as that was their policy if there was any decrease in movement.
Was not expecting that and totally scared the bejesus out of me..
Everything was fine and I felt stupid once I got to L&D and they;re like ya eveyrthing is fine! but I figured better safe than sorry. They told me to really pay attention to the movement and any kind of movement as long as it is 10 times within an hour is fine-- you can help LO along by eating something crunchy too, apparently it wakes them up!

Re: should I be worried?
I have read that this is very normal. Also, once you are a bit closer it gets more consistant.
