I'm sad

I'll make a long story short..... I had a rough pregnancy with DS and spent most oft time from 27 1/2 weeks until I delivered at 37 weeks in the hospital. Then it took us 3 years and alot of heartache to fi ally conceive our little and now the problems are starting I'm not in the hospital thankfully but have been to l&d twice and the ER once already. Now I'm home with a heart monitor bc my heart rate is high. They've ruled out a blood clot, anemia, thyroid problem, arrhythmia and said it could just be from being pg and all the extra blood/fluid and stress on the body. I'm of course hoping this is the case but they want me to wear this monitor for a month, most things I've heard/read say most times it's worn for 24-48 hrs. I want to do what's best for me and baby but I'm just so sad that again I am having issues. So far my cervix has been holding up unlike last time but I feel like I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop at this point. I'll be 29 weeks on Thursday and instead of enjoying getting ready for baby I jut want time to fly. No real point to this post except to vent

I'm so sorry you're going through this, it sounds very stressful and that's the last thing you need. If it makes you feel any better, my friend's husband had a suspected heart issue so he had to wear a heart monitor for a month also. So you're not alone there. Definitely don't look online - google is the devil for things like this! It will just drive you crazy (I've done it to myself many times!).

I really hope everything turns out ok and you can continue to have a healthy pregnancy!

I'm sorry, vent away. It must be extremely stressful and difficult that you will feel better and deliver a healthy baby

so sorry, not fair that it is much harder for some, but you know it will all be worth it in a couple of months!

I just went thru the same thing. I first did the 24 hr and they talked about doing the 1 month one. its really not that bad, and at least you can take off. there's no harm to you or the baby

I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of moms. this is a very common issue and nothing is every diagnoised. its just your hormones from pregnancy so rest asssured your probably fine

with me, they discovered I have a leaking valve and a hole in my heart. I also have thyroid problems. basically my body is allergic to my thyroid so its making antibodies to kill it off. I knew I might have had a thyroid issue when we couldn't get pregnant and they tested me so I was sent to a re. they were still going thru testing me when we got pregnant on our own.

This really is no big deal, no reason to be sad, even if something is discovered, be happy they are doing something for you. it could be so much worse
