pain under rib cage
I am 30 weeks and just started getting pain on my right side under my rib cage......it feels bruised.....has anyone else had this? I'm just wondering if this is normal or something to be concerned about.....Thanks!!

Hey friend!! I've been complaining about that pain this past week...feels like how under my ribs did when i had pneumonia this past june...
really sore to the touch...I'm guessing they're growing pains?
I'm also almost as big as you, so even though im 5 weeks behind you, i think its possible we're feeling the same thing
hope it's normal!! :)

Haha Thanks! yeah everyone says how small i am so you could very well be the same size as me! Yeah thats what i'm thinking/hoping just growing pains.....even when i'm laying down it is uncomfortable....don't think i'm going to sleep to good tonight.....

yeah the other night (tuesday i think?) i was miserable no matter how i lay...achy hips, back, rib cage area, the baby was POUNDING me moving and kicking so hard it actually was uncomfortable...i think things are starting to grow and that my regular insides are starting to be pushed around...
im not too concerned, every time i have a pain/discomfort, my doc tells me its normal!! Lol

I have the exact same pain! It feels bruised but I don't see any actual bruising. It feels like  is trying slowly pushing its way out through my ribs. I assumed that as the baby gets bigger it just starts pushing on different places.

This!! I had this SOOO bad with DS last summer starting in the third trimester. I'm short so he really had no where to go but to shove his feet in my ribs. It really hurt when I laid down.
