TMI but I'm worried
TMI - I debated on posting this but I'm kind of freaking out. I'm 15 weeks and haven't had any spotting until yesterday. I've been very constipated and when I go I have some pink spotting from the front end. I think it might be from straining but it happened again this morning and it really upset me. I called the OB and left a message. But now I'm sitting here waiting for a call back and worrying. Anyone experience this? Sorry again for the TMI.

Re: TMI but I'm worried
first off I hope it's nothing and I really think it will be nothing! I understand that it can make you anxious though.
I'll be 15 weeks in a couple of days and I had some issues with constipation and straining as well And I did get some blood a few times but it was coming from the back TMI! I now have a prenatal that has stool softener in it. Your doc should be able to prescribe it to you. It has helped me and I also upped my fiber.
Everything I read said some spotting is normal. All those "I didn't know I was pregnant shows" always have women that thought they were getting their periods because they had periodic spotting
I hope the doc calls you back soon and puts your mind at ease

It could very well be from straining. If you go back to the bathroom the next time after it, you might not notice any blood. It happened to me.

Re: TMI but I'm worried
Thanks for responding! My OB's office got back to me and referred me to an emergency OB # since my OB is out of the office. The doc was very nice and said from what I described it could be 100 things but it doesn't sound like anything serious. He wants me to call my regular OB's office on Monday to schedule another sono to make sure everything's fine. Feeling better but won't be really relieved until I see the LO again.

Re: TMI but I'm worried
Sorry to hear about the spotting. Hopefully ur better now. The only advice i can offer is to try and get more fiber so that in the near future you dont have to strain. Hope u hear from ur OB soon
ETA: Sorry didnt read the entire post. Glad u heard from someone. Keeping fingers crossed!

Re: TMI but I'm worried
I am glad you spoke to the emergency dr on call and they were not concerned. I forget when I stopped spotting but spotted all of first trimester and a little in 2nd. Take it easy this weekend. put your feet up. eat fiber. call first thing monday. hopefully they will see you monday too.
