Anyone else have issues with cooking dinner?
I have been dreading cooking dinner lately..mostly because so many foods gross me out. The thought of preparing food just completely turns me off...anyone else?

OMG yes! ME!!! We either eat out or DH cooks. I can't stand to cook anything lately.

Yes, this was hard on me, especially with this pregnancy because now I have to cook for DH AND the two little boys instead of just for me and DH. When it was only the two of us, I'd have Cheerios for dinner and DH was on his own, but this time I needed to prepare a healthy meal and by the time it was finished and we all sat down, I was ready to throw up and Cheerios didn't even appeal to me.
Good news is about half-way through the 2nd trimester, it passed and I started eating everything in sight

me! I've been making a lot of pre-cooked cook and trying to get DH to order out. For me its not so much the food aspect its that i've been in pain so standing that long isn't good for me.

Ugh yes! In the first tri I didn't cook at all, I was too easily grossed out by food. I'm in the beginning of the 2nd tri so it's easier and I'm starting to cook more. But I'm also still exhausted a lot of the time, so I try to make enough for at least two dinners. That way I don't have to cook every night. Also I cave once a week and get take out

i hardly EVER cooked the first trimestr  ughhh all the smells and handling meat would make me vomit. lots of eating out for DH

I didnt cook during my first Trimester. I still have DH trim the chicken but I can cook most things now. I am getting lazy though and don;t want to cook anymore.

I barely cooked my first trimester. Anything raw made me sick. Now, it's my big belly between me and the stove.

Not now at 22 weeks but in the beginning I didnt eat for 12 weeks . Everything and anything made me nauseous and either gag or throw up. Its a terrible feeling that will pass. Hang in there momma

Definitely! I didn't even have much nausea or anything but the idea of handling raw meat was just not appealing. I stocked up on some freezer meals from TJ"s so I could just throw things in the oven. We also did a lot of take out in the 1st trimester. It has gotten better and recently I can even deal with raw chicken which was the worst!

when i was HG-ing, there was no way i could do anything!! even now on zofran, i have my mom cook. it's a lot better for me....

During MS it was torture. I just bought DH a bunch of pre-prepared meals that I could throw in the oven. The kids only eat chicken nuggets or pasta. So that wasn't too bad.

Absolutely. Its not until just recently at 13 weeks that Im going into the kitchen again. Literally, since I got my BFP until I hit 12 week mark the thought of making dinner repulsed me.

I have actually cooked and not eaten. Luckily DH cooks during the week. Sometimes I just tell him to order out and I'll eat cereal for dinner.
