Speaking of doulas.....

Originally I was considering one, but then I never really pursued it. But as we get closer I want to look more seriously into working with a doula.

However, I am about 27 weeks, almost in my 3rd tri. Is it too late to start contacting them?

And I'm in Suffolk County, delivering at SB....does anyone have any recommendations or experiences?

I don't think it's too late at all! I think I first contacted my doula around 25 weeks or so. My doula was recommended to me through my natural childbirth educator, Celeste Rachell. Celeste is also a doula trainer and she has a wealth of knowledge. Her web site it www.longislandbirthpartners.com.
