Someone please explain- ETSY

How does Etsy work?

Is it an on line store where you purchase items already made ? or do you contact vendors from the site who then work with you to make items for you based on personalized requests?

Thanks ladies! It seems so many people get so many great things on Etsy and I have no clue how it works but would love to find out

you can do either one.

it's an online site which hosts many vendors who made various handmade items.

you can buy items as is or you can contact the vendor for a special order.

Exactly what the AP said. I've gotten both types of things. You can search for specific things or just keep clicking until you find something awesome.
