Do you ever feel guilty?

About worrying about things like stretch marks, weight gain, and other changes in your body that comes with pregnancy?

I'm someone who battled weight and body issues all my life. I grew up chubby and I worked to be thin as an adult. I'd hate to admit it but I am so sad at how fast my body is changing and am scared it'll never be the same. I mean, I KNOW it won't be the same.

I feel constantly guilty because of this. I know so many women would do almost anything to be on this board and I feel so superficial caring so much about the body changes when they would be so grateful just to be pregnant.

I am very, very happy to be pregnant and if I had to choose a baby over keeping my body the same, I'd choose a baby 1000%. Still, I can't help wonder if I'll ever love my body again.

Anyone else dealing with this?

I've been complaining a bit to friends and family about my skin. I've been breaking out like crazy lately and it's all due to the PG hormones and it drives me crazy that I can't take any real meds for it. I definitely feel guilty about it, because I have no right to complain. I've had a healthy and fairly easy pregnancy so far and I should just be thankful for that. But it takes a toll on our bodies and I think we're allowed a tiny bit of self-pity here and there. Don't beat yourself up over it

After our babies come we can always motivate each other to get back in the groove!

It is so hard to see our bodies change so much! It is totally normal to feel a little bummed about it. . . don't stress and after the baby comes you can work on getting back to a YOU that you are happy with!

Guilty? No.

It's totally normal as long as you aren't obsessing over it and letting it ruin pregnancy for you or overshadow how amazing the whole experience is.

well i feel guilty for constantly complaining...all i've wanted more than anything else in the world for the last 2 years is to be pregnant...and i got my wish, so i feel guilty that all i do is complain and that i just want to fast forward to May already. I really didn't enjoy my first pregnancy that much and i swore i'd LOVE being pregnant the second time around because i had to work much harder to achieve this pregnancy...but i just feel like CRAP..and i want to feel like myself again.
