Changing makeup with the seasons: Problem
I'm in between shades!
My tan is fading, so I can't wear my summer foundation, but my winter foundation is too light!
I would mix, but they are different "types." My summer makeup is a powder foundation, my winter makeup is a traditional liquid.
Do I buy something cheap in the interim?

I would try to mix them anyway and see what happens. Try it on your hand and see what happens. If that doesn't work then a cheapo foundation should hold you over for a bit. Maybe you can get a sample at sephora?

Maybe use the winter foundation and add a bronzer on top to darken it a bit?
