My Dr's office does a 3D/4D as part of the regularly scheduled sonos. I had mine at 30 weeks. It was absolutely amazing. DH and I were blown away. If you can have one, do it!

My OB doesn't but I def want to schedule one.

We had an appointment at 28 weeks (currently 31 weeks) we had to cancel because of an event we had to attend. I never rescheduled as I am on the fence about them- I couldn't wait to get it, but then I sorta changed my mind. Started wondering about whether or not it would 'ruin' the surprise at birth a(of course not!) but more importantly, wondered if the money could be better spent elsewhere. Still might do it, not sure.
Best time to get it is 28-32 weeks. Impact Sono in East Meadow is really popular, the basic package is around $125 and they do it fri, sat, sun.

I went to Womb Pics in Bohemia. it was expensive I thought. i believe they have a price list online. It says online that the best time to get it is 28-32 weeks. I went at 29 weeks.
My doc office doesn't do them. I did them with my first. It was amazing to see the face. but I am not doing it with my second. I think you do all this stuff when its your first and everything is new and exciting. but not necessary!!!

I'm 34 weeks now and didn't get it done. It's very cool but my doctors office doesn't technically do them (I'd have to pay) so I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.

the tech at my OB has been trying to give me one but at my past few sonos my baby was not grown enuf.

I am probably alone here, but I really do not want one. I want to be surprised at what my baby looks like. So IMO, it's a huge waste of money.
